The Story behind
the Butterfly...

The butterfly is the symbol of our practice because it beautifully reflects the personal journeys we are privileged to witness every day.
In occupational therapy, growth often happens gradually — through patience, support, and small but meaningful steps forward. Much like a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis, our clients learn to navigate challenges, rediscover their strengths, and embrace new possibilities in their daily lives.
The butterfly also carries a sense of hope, balance, and gentle resilience, reminding us that transformation is possible at any stage of life. For children, adults, and families alike, it symbolizes the belief at the centre of our practice: with compassion, guidance, and the right tools, everyone has the potential to flourish.

The Process
Explore the therapy process to find out exactly how we can help you.
2. Goal Setting
Goal setting is a key step in your therapy journey. Together, we’ll explore what truly matters to you — your values, priorities, and hopes for change. From there, we’ll identify meaningful, realistic goals that guide our sessions and give direction to your progress.

This collaborative process ensures that therapy is centered around you — your life, your pace, and your definition of success. Each goal becomes a stepping stone toward greater balance, confidence, and wellbeing in your everyday life.

4. Continuous Support
Together, we’ll celebrate your growth, reflect on what’s working, and adjust your plan as you move forward.
Our goal is to help you strengthen your skills, enhance your independence, maintain balance, and feel confident in continuing your journey — with support available whenever you need it.
1. First Contact
Your first contact is the starting point of your journey toward balance, independence and wellbeing. It’s a gentle, welcoming space where you can share your expectations and learn more about how online occupational therapy works.

3. Therapy Plan
Once your goals are defined, we’ll create a personalized therapy plan that aligns with your needs, lifestyle, and priorities. This plan outlines the focus areas, strategies, and pace of your sessions — ensuring that your therapy feels structured yet flexible.

Our aim is to design a plan that supports your growth, builds on your strengths, and equips you with practical tools to manage daily challenges and move confidently toward your goals.

Meet Our OT

Wernice Pretorius
Occupational Therapist
Hello! I’m an occupational therapist from a small town in the Eastern Free State and a proud graduate of Stellenbosch University, where I also met my husband. Today, we call the beautiful coastal town of Jeffreys Bay home, where life is shared with our two four-pawed companions. Outside of my work, you’ll often find me horse riding, jogging, birding, or spending time in nature — things that help me stay grounded. I love being around people and find great joy in helping to make a difference, one connection at a time!

After spending a few years working in both government and private hospitals, I realized how many people longed for accessible, flexible therapy services that could fit into the busyness of everyday life. This inspired me to create a safe, online space where therapy can meet you right where you are — offering warmth, understanding, and practical tools for everyday balance and growth. I’m passionate about helping you navigate life’s challenges with confidence, calmness, and a renewed sense of purpose to reach your full potential and live the life you want to live.
